Have you read about how this trial worked? There was a good article in the journal a couple days ago. The procedure is downright scary. It involves nuking the snot out of the patient to kill off their entire immune system. Also, so far it has only worked on people who have just been diagnosed and the pancreatic damage is limited - but nonetheless very interesting. I'll post a link on the rLog when I get a chance.
